The Willy Brandt camp site in Thalmässing is about 500 meters above sea level between Nuremberg and Ingolstadt. The “Reinwarzhofener Espan” (Espan refers to a plateau that was previously used as unfenced pastureland) covers an area of approx. 12 hectares and is bordered on two sides by a forest area.

The square has two large kitchens, two warehouses, two office huts, two office containers, a sanitary facility and a central sanitary building with an attached multi-purpose room and a laundry with two commercial washing machines and tumble dryers each.

The sanitary building is designed for more than 2,000 people. It is equipped with 56 shower cubicles,

144 washing places (including toilet area), 42 toilets and 18 urinals as well as two handicapped-accessible shower and toilet facilities. The generous flushing area for the participants is also located at this location. Two more toilets and a urinal are available in the attached multi-purpose room with canteen and media room. The kitchen areas have additional sanitary areas for the staff.

In the last few years the infrastructure of the square has been fundamentally improved. The sanitary areas and the large kitchen 1 were renewed and additional electricity, water and sewage connections were created on the site. This made it easier for large customers in particular to hold events.
